| Treating The Water |

Water treatment is accomplished using winterizing kits. These kits usually contain a pool closing product and a container of chemical products that is inserted in a Styrofoam “donut”.
As with all chemical products intended for use in water, dissolve the closing product in a bucket of hot water prior to pouring the solution into the pool at various locations. Place the other container of chemical products in the Styrofoam “donut” and pierce the bottom of the container according to manufacturer instructions. Then, place the entire package in the pool. This system allows the chemicals to dissolve slowly into the water and, in the spring, you simply remove the “donut” and empty container. |
