- Make sure that the rim of the pool is at least 20 cm (8 in.) from the deck. If not, ground freezing and shifting could create friction between the two surfaces and cause damage.
- If there is an abundance of rain in the fall, causing the water level in the pool to rise considerably, be sure to empty the pool until the water reaches the recommended level. To do this, place one end of your garden hose in the pool, unravel the hose into the street and, from the other end, siphon water until it escapes from the hose. There are also pumps on the market that are designed to work with electric drills.
- Always follow the instructions included with the packaging of your chemical products and make sure you store all chemical products in a dry place, safely out of children’s reach.
- There are several closing kits, containing all required products, available on the market.
