From your initial consultation, to design, construction and project management, Clear Choice Pools & Spas is completely committed to making your pool building experience an easy one. One of the ways we do this is by assigning you a dedicated project manager who is always available to answer your questions.
Timing
From start to finish most pools can take from 1-2 months to build. But you’ll receive a detailed project schedule that will give you a better idea of how long your pool should take to complete, and what your can expect throughout the building process. Your project manager will always be there to insure that you are always fully informed and completely satisfied.
The beginning
While every pool build is different, the design and building process generally remains the same. Here's what you can expect after you contact Clear Choice Pools & Spas:
Initial Visit
We’ll gather the important information about just what you’d like to accomplish. What do you want the space to look like? How will the pool be used and by who? Then we’ll measure the yard, consider your chosen location for sunlight and usability, and make sure that you clearly understand all of the available options. In this initial consultation, we listen very carefully so that we can seamlessly incorporate your dreams and your vision into an elegant and functional back yard oasis.
Review
Within two weeks, your customized design will be completed and ready for review. Our strategic landscape partners use architectural drafts that will help you visualize what your new pool will look like in amazing detail. You’ll also be able to discuss and decide on further options, details and features.
Permits
Once you make the decision to move forward, we can immediately begin to schedule the building phase of your new pool. As we help you through the permitting process, our representatives will schedule a pre-construction meeting with you so that you know exactly what to expect over the next few weeks. Please note you will be required to get all necessary permits.
Construction
We will begin to engineer your pool with meticulous detail. We will start by grading and excavating, or digging out the site. After the site has been excavated, we will install the reinforcing steel and complete all the plumbing and electrical work before the initial inspection.

Masonry Work
We or a contractor that you hire will complete all of the masonry work. If you have chosen to include features like custom walls, rock features waterfalls, built in barbecue or a fireplace, they will be built or installed during this phase of the construction.
Deck Construction
The deck of your pool will be installed. It usually takes a few weeks to prepare the deck and one week to install the decking. Then your pool will go through another inspection. Any additional options, such as gates, fencing alarm systems or lighting will be installed here.
Water
Fill your new pool with water and add family!
